Brolga Dreaming shows our deep connection of love, as brolga mate for life. If one brolga passes away, the other will often follow within a short time with a broken heart. This reminds us of our true connection of love, which in modern ways we sometimes forget, and that we need to go back to old ways of thinking.
Our brolgas also show us some of our dancing for corroboree and remind us to dance with each other. We all dance as equals — nobody shows off to be better than the next, as true love does not do that. We sit equal in everything. This Aboriginal artwork reflects love, equality, respect and shared movement within community.
