Season Colours

Seasons Colours reflects how the colours of Country speak differently throughout the year through the change of our six seasons.

Each season brings a different array of colours that come alive across Country. When you sit on Country and watch, you begin to see the change and become part of that change. This painting captures that feeling of slowing down, observing and connecting to the natural rhythms of land, sea and sky.

This Aboriginal artwork was painted while sitting on Country at the beach, feeling and seeing these colours as they shifted across the landscape. The work reflects lived experience and observation, grounded in presence on Country and connection to place.
